Master of Science in Automotive Engineering

The program is aimed to achieving practice-oriented knowledge and skills in the field of Automotive Engineering, and includes basic subjects such as Fundamentals of Energy-Saving Technologies, Design Principles, Bases of Scientific Researches, Protection of Intellectual Property, Technical Foreign Languageas well as advanced subjects such as Vehicle Dynamic Control and Assistant Systems, Alternative Propulsion Systems, Brake Systems, Simulation Methods in ICE Development, Design and Calculation of Ground Transport Technological Machines, Engine Control Systems, Combustion Process Modeling, Ecology of the Automobile etc. High standards of teaching and research activity are provided by modern innovation infrastructure of KNRTU-KAI and TU Ilmenau. Students during studies are involved to the performance of integrated projects, and at the end of studies, they prepare and defend final Master's degree thesis. Department of Automobile Engines and Service is a leading in the KNRTU-KAI for joint Master's program “Automotive Engineering” with the TU Ilmenau within the project GRIAT.

3rd semester – at Ilmenau University of Technology

4th semester – at Ilmenau University of Technology or KNRTU-KAI

Study fee:

for budget students: free of charge

for contract students: 2 500 EUR per year
